Starting out - going mad...help

#1 Post by seanfenney »

Hi,

I have two Ardunios (Mega and Uno) - both have been flashed and recognized in Air Manager.

I have followed Russ's video to the letter to wire up a switch (on both Ardunios) and tested them with the Cessna panel - avionics switch.

when pressing the light bulb to run the panel....I flick the switch and nothing....on both boards?

The only thing I don't have is XPlane running...do I need it running to be able to test?

Thanks for your help....frustrated!
Sean

Yes the simulator has to be running.

You can't test without the sim running as typically the AM instruments are relying on datarefs from the sim in order to function.
