That is awesome, I love the effect. Adds a great deal to the immersion for sure. Nicely done and thank you for sharing.

Ha! Cool idea! and a great tutorial so it was really easy to add it to an existing instrument.
I scratched my head a while to understand the structure of the code and I can't say I'm 100% there but it works.
I think there's a slight error in the tutorial though. Where it says

needlepos=airspeed
if I'm not mistaken it should read

needle_value=airspeed

And of course for FS2020 (which came out after the original post was written) the variable subscription for GENERAL ENG COMBUSTION SOUND PERCENT:1 must be done with fs2020_variable_subscribe.
