Still running AM 3.7 and it works good. Why should I update to 4?

Hello Simmer´s.

I builded some panels and Hardware with AM 3.7. I coded mostly by my self and I´m afraid to getting problems when I update to AM 4.
i'm working with Raspberry PI's and Arduino's.

So, please give me some "arguments" to invest some money .

Yes, Corjan , you are right. Never touch a running system.

But will I be compatible in the future
And I'm excited about the possibilities that AM offers. That's why I would of course like to continue to support this "project" .

There's no support for version 3.x anymore. So no guarantees. But it'll probably keep working for a while.
