I just discovered interesting video explaining how to display AM 4.0 panels on Android or iOS tablet with Knobster.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQ4CTn9zO8g
It's based on the free software Spacedesk:
https://spacedesk.net/
which allows creating virtual dispaly on the PC runing Air Manager which is actually displayed on Android or iOS tablet. Touch and Knobster works as expected.
Not sure about the FPS impact on the PC running the sim, AM and Spacedesk server.
EDIT: Unfortunately first tests show a tendency of AM 4.0 to crash when Spacedesk is active and AM panel is displayed on the Android tablet.

You have to remember that a lot of the software around at the moment is in beta so it may not be the most stable. Spacedesk was in beta when that video was made and AM 4.0 is obviously in beta. If you are trying to run it with FS2020 as well then all of these together could be causing it to be unstable.

You can try to set the rendering to OpenGL in the Settings tab. But such applications are always a bit dodgy, it's not a regular screen.
