Food for thought:
Since AM is a DIY display program, it could perfectly be used for other game software than Flight simulation, provided if used with the proper plugin of course.
Though I'm not a specialist, it seems that racing games are providing an API to expose some of their variables for hardcore users.
Some guys are interrested in racing simulation, and of course there exist a need for instrument gauges, even in a Formula One cockpit!.
And now that ver 3.0 is able to talk with hardware, this opens up a whole world of possibilities.... and it wouldn't need to change anything to the core AM, only an additional plugin.

Re: AM far beyond flight simulation
We've thought about such things, like a train simulator or whatever. Eventually it might be called Sim Manager. But for now we have our hands full with aviation
