@Corjan
This is a question and request.
AM does not support XM products at this time. I was looking for a hack. If I download XM data and update a .json say every 10 minutes. Can I start and stop a instrument within a panel to reload the new data.? Or, if I update the .json then reload static_data_load().
I suspect that once the instrument is loaded. The .json is locked in and updates will only be active on restarting the instrument.
shut_down(My_Instrument) then instrument_load(My_instrument) might assist.

Re: XM products
Hi,
Doing multiple static_data_load calls will probably work.
But not that this is all a bit hacky. Transferring data through files is in general not a good idea.
