Keith,

For future reference.

No need to wait for an update message. You could of just downloaded the latest BETA plugin from the wiki.

100's Tony.

I was wanting to check if the automatic update/plugin was working by me.

Last time I had an update issue I had to do a manual update. Reason AM was in a different directory. I changed that so was not sure.

Hi,

I've same issue like you.

When I try nav_get_radius, I've a NIL back.

I've AM 4 Beta 20, Plugin 3.3 Beta 15, and I use FS2020.

I can install FS2020 plugin, it's a Service Program, and it works fine.
But I have not "Air Plugin" like you explain (in user folder) ; and I can't find any nav_data.sqlite3. I've just a nav_data.sqlite in nav_data folder in program installation of AM 4 Beta.

I can't install any other plugin to find nav_data.sqlite3 because I use only FS2020.

Any information about this to try something and help us ?

Thank's
Didier

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback and welcome to the forums.

Today we will go through the NAV functionality ourselves, and try to fix any issue we can find (including the once posted here on the forums).

There indeed is an issue with the FS2020 service not downloading the nav_data.sqlite3 file. I have fixed this in code, and will probably release a new BETA version today.
Note that since the FS2020 service is run as 'administrator', the Air Plugin folder is at 'C:\ProgramData\Air Plugin\'

Hi,

Any update on the outcome of Fridays going through the NAV features?

This one is on my radar. I think Tony reported already. in NDB, Longitude has first part of frequency and frequency has longitude .

Code: Select all

[1=[LONGITUDE=205.0, ICAO=YEU, FREQUENCY=4.4275162472592e-315, LATITUDE=79.99100278, ID=1622, NAME=EUREKA]

And similar issues with the VHF_NAVAID, "DME_ICO" and "DME_LATITUDE"

Code: Select all

[1=[ID=840, DME_LATITUDE=9.1441002834584e-312, DME_ICAO=9.14410028748999e-312, LATITUDE=52.45256667, ICAO=FRO, AIRPORT_ID=5, DME_ELEVATION=52.45256667, IS_VOR=true, DME_LONGITUDE=0.0, COLLOCATION=false, LONGITUDE=5.50806389, NAME=LELYSTAD, FREQUENCY=111.4],

I'm gonna check today or tomorrow, but those should all be resolved. You'll have to wait for the next beta though.

Hi,

Directories......

How long will it be to be able to order your favorite takeout and book some pleasure on your sim G1000. 😁😁😁
Not to far away if I can get the data.
Any Ideas on data sources.
4Square comes to mind.

Is today going to be new Beta day? :lol: :lol:

There are "many" that would be willing to pay for your valentines meal if we could have this nav fixed update. :o
Note I am not part of that "many"
