your new G5 is absolutly great. However it daes not show me wind data. I have TAS, GS, outside temp Indications, but no wid data.What might be the reason?

To be able to display wind data, the G5 (as any Nav system like GPS) has to be moving. It won't display anything about wind when the airplane is still.
But that maybe a bug as well.

It takes a little while (15 seconds) before the wind is displayed, you indeed need OAT on, there needs to be a GPS in your aircraft (or at least the sim has to indicate that there's one), the aircraft has to be in the air, and there has to be wind. There's no bug, sorry
