version 2.1.1 - AM Layout issue

Hi guys,

Here is some feedback on the layout of the program (using Linux Mint)
Not a big issue, just an aesthetic thingy...

When launched the screen looks like the following picture.
As you can see the menu buttons get crunched and its texts are not completely visible.

It is possible to do some resizing...

...this only doesn't work for all screens.

When I close down the program and restart it again I have to do the rescaling again.
There is no persistence to the window size variables.
