Hello

it seems there's something broken inside latest Air Player update (1.0.26)
the panels don't show anymore

Best regards
Gilles

Hi,

I changed something, again... :) Sorry!

In Air Manager, go to the devices tab and select your panel. There should be a radio button 'Start Panel when starting Air Player'.

There was a bit of a confusion on how the 'start on boot' check mark worked, so I replaced it with these radio buttons.
Unfortunately, it defaults to never starting when updating.

Ok, I've seen now
we have to select each panel individually for each device that appear on Devices tab
there we find the 3 radio button you've mentioned
  • Start panel manually
  • Start panel when starting Air Player
  • Start panel when switching to aircraft
for our need, I've choose the second option then clicked on Save button to apply and all is gone well

Thanks again

We saw it yesterday at someone else's PC as well, also Nvidia (1070). He launched Air Player a second time and then it worked. Something to look into...

It is solved now by re installing last Air Player (1.0.26 for now)
only my thought, but perhaps windows defender is too intrusive by "freezing" some of the components : I mean not allowing execution of some of the components
and also for installation time, I had to unblock the file "setup.exe" before launching install

I dream of a windows OS, in which we can chan choose only those "bricks" we want to run on our PC and not all of this myriad of useless components in it (for what need ?) ... :-)
the only components needed for a simu are :
  • Net connection
  • File System
  • Sound component
  • Windows display with graphics drivers
all other things really useless and source of complication
perhaps one day, we get a simu we boot on : usb, dvd, net, aso ...

Best regards
Gilles
