AM3 causes XPL10 crash when already running when starting x-plane

#1 Post by brodhaq »

Hello,
minor bug report here: when I start the AM3 (BETA 57) first, and attempt to start my XPL10 afterwards, the x-plane crashes when "will init plugins" is reported. If I start XPL first and AM afterwards, everything is a-ok.
For me it feels like AM is constantly trying to connect to the plugin, which causes the plugin to be busy and not respond to XPL loading routine, maybe?
X-plane log attached. What I guess from the log is that the previous plugin (xsquawkbox) is loaded, and when it comes to AM plugin, the XPL immediately crashes without even writing into log.

I updated my plugin yesterday late evening, so unless you changed them since then, I have the latest.

Our plugin is loaded way before the SquawkBox plugin, almost immediately, just after the PluginAdmin. So it's probably another plugin that causes trouble. Of course it's not 100% sure. You can try to reproduce the problem with the AirPlugin removed from the plugins folder.
