Running AM4 with panels on three different screens attached to the PC, they all work just fine, then suddenly they all vanish and AM itself disappears.
If I run it with just two screens showing panels, there doesn't seem to be a problem.
I don't think it is a specific screen causing the issue: it doesn't seem to matter which two I choose, it is OK. But I'm not certain about that!

Sounds like it matters which panel you use, so which instruments you run? Or...?

No, as I said it does NOT matter which two I use.
It is adding the third that caused the problem. Doesn't matter which is the third.
However, it has now become academic, and Air Manager no longer finds msfs at all since the last msfs update.
