MSFS 2020

#1 Post by Gixxar »

Is there a bug with the rotary encoder in the latest 4.0 Beta?
I have been using it and all has been working well. But to now when I use the rotary encoder to change say heading bug, instead of just 1 click it will jump 5.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Sounds like you haven’t got the latest plugin installed but I suppose a new bug could of appeared. I would suspect MSFS over AM though as it’s way less stable in its dev cycle.

There doesn't seem to be any way to tell whether or not you have the latest version of the plugin. It appears to be unversioned, and there seem to be no announcements when it is updated.

Hi,

For me, this is an indication.
Bottom right.
It is broke ATM but mostly up to date.

Keith
I get the same also. I have used the latest update but it always says there is an update available. I think I'm running the latest plugin.

It was mentioned before on the forums, you can ignore this message in the beta.

Ralph,

The issue is. Is the plugin up to date or not?

The OP does not know that or how to make sure it is.

I was thinking it is more than likely a MSFS thing.

If you want to be sure then you can download it from our wiki, or from the application which would be the same file. But I wouldn't worry about it unless you have any issues with the plugin.
