#1 Post by eliassmith02 »

hi guys. im new here and not sure if this is the right area to post this, but my fsx crashes to desktop about 30min after loading. Event viewer shows an error with MSVCR120. This has only started since i installed Air Manager. Any help would be appreciated

MSVCR120 doesn't sound familiar, not something related to Air Manager. Did you try it without the Air Manager plugin after this? It could be some other plug-in that is crashing.

A Google search reveals that MSVCR120 is part of ELSTER, German tax program. So check that maybe.

I see it in combination with PMDG. Are you using PMDG?

I have neither of the programs mentioned previously. This issue only started after i installed air manager. I haven't installed any thing else. Thanks for the suggestions tho.

Hi,

In fact, MSVCR120 are the files required for a C program to run on windows. Allot of programs rely on this (both FSX itself, and the AM plugin).
During development, I never encountered any problems with the FSX plugin and the C runtime.

For AM 2.1.2, I made a change to the plugin, which might fix this issue. I will sent you the new plugin using a forum PM.

I'm not sure if that will fix your problem, but it is worth a shot,

Corjan
