Configuration with arduino

I have a problem, I am making my panel of a 172 and I want to connect it to arduino to function with an encoder, but I am already testing with several instruments and the only one that recognizes the order is the artificial horizon or altitude indicator, I tried all the buttons with the same and if it works but at the time of assigning the rotaries with other instruments it does not work.
