No connecting touch screen

#1 Post by zoelena »

Hi,

Have two monitors, on first one FS2020 and Cessna 172 and Air Manager 4.0. On second monitor which is touch screen the chosen panel Cessna172SP.
Not able to use mouse or touch which panel is shown. Use knobster and when I choose a button, it does turn but nothing else changes. Have configured the second monitor as touch monitor and touch works on for instance with Chrome.

In the right bottom corner Fs2020 is connected.

Any help is highly appriciated.

Kind regards,

Anton Will van Zoelen

Hi,

Tried all your suggestions...Firewall On and Firewall off and made exceptions for Firewall for FS2020 and Air Manager. Have disconnected NordVPN. Use (bought)panel Cessna 172 SP with
Cessna 172 in FS2020. Problem not solved.
Have attached log file....
fs2020_log.txt
(24.64 KiB) Downloaded 134 times
Thanks for your help.

Kind regards,

The plugin is doing fine. But things like these: 'Lost connection with client: 'An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.' indicate that something in your network isn't playing nice.
Hard for us to say what it is.

AH, ok.
Contrary to what people believe, A VPN offers VERY little / in fact virtually NO 'protection'. However, It DOES offer a way to circumvent geographical and geopolitical issues and restrictions to a certain extent.
I agree with @Ralph , it seems to be a network issue, or, something else you are running on your PC regarding your network. Try disabling ALL AV products, ALL VPN, ANY anti 'malware' .. in other words, back to absolute basics. If you are running a third party Firewall or similar - remove it. Most of this stuff is totally counter productive and purely a money maker.
It may not answer your issue, but will at least be better for your system. You can then bring back parts slowly. IF needed, most will be useless unless you are trying to circumvent specific geo issues.

What you can try is setting up a manual connection. So filling in the IP address in the Air Manager Settings tab. If the simulator runs on the same computer then fill in 127.0.0.1, or localhost might work as well.

Hi,

Found the problem...in the FS2020 forum I found a siff-file for the CJ4
Downloaded the Mobiflight wasm files and put the map in the Community Folder as instructed

https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/ai ... els/375154.

Think these files clashed with the regular files. Have deleted the Mobiflight wasm folder and everything is working now....

Thanks for your help.

Pretty strange. I have still have the Mobiflight wasm module and it works fine, so I don't think that's the problem.
