With AM 4.1 BETA 4 and plugin 3.6.1 BETA installed, I get the following log when reproducing the issue.
fs2020_log.txt
(20.45 KiB) Downloaded 143 times
The steps are:
- (19:45) Start up PC
-> (19:46:21) FS2020 Bridge has started
- (19:49) Start Air Manager 4.1 BETA 4
- (19:50) Show Panel Cessna 172
- (19:51) Start MSFS 2020 (1st session)
-> (19:53:19) SimConnect has started
- Setup free flight (Cessna 172 @ EDLP, Ramp 10)
- Fly a full circuit
- (20:12:54) Exit MSFS 2020 (end of 1st session)
- (20:20) Start MSFS 2020 (2nd session)
-> (20:22:19) SimConnect has started
=>> (20:22:25) FS2020 Bridge has terminated

I also provide the related application error entry from the system event viewer:
Application Error.txt
(841 Bytes) Downloaded 139 times
Relevant ist the exception code : 0xc0000409
There is an interesting microsoft devblog entry related to the meaning of that exception code.

Hi,

Just did a debug session with Paul, thanks again for that by the way :)

Managed to find this crash, and it has been fixed in a new BETA version here:

For anyone having similar issues with the service stopping at some point, please use this version and let me know if there are still issues.

Thanks Corjan for the update. That’s good news. Also a big thanks to Paul for taking the time to help trace this issue down to a conclusion.

Quick question. What should the 3.6 BETA 2 plugin show as in xplane. I've done the update but its still reporting 3.6 BETA 1. I know we've had this situation before but it obviously confuses things.

Probably a wrong version number. But nothing changed on the X-Plane side.

Something i came across today.

With the BETA plugins 1 & 2 FSX is incorrectly recognised as FS2020 and subscribes for either sim do not work when connected to FSX.

Might be that the FS2020 service connects to the FSX instance :). SimConnect is SimConnect I guess...

Never thought of that.

Thanks guys. I had the same thought about Sim connect. Hopefully the fix is not too involved.

Hi folks,

As far as I can tell from this weeks experience, the issues with the terminating plugin are solved with the BETA 2 plugin.
