Touchscreen does not work as a touchscreen

Today I received my 16T2 touchscreen from AOC.
Unfortunately, I have not managed to use this as a touchscreen. Everything else was working fine. All the drivers on the AOC CD were installed. No idea what was to blame.
Tomorrow the device goes on the return trip.

Before you send it back, make sure that you touchscreen is declared as your main screen in the multiscreen setup configuration screen in W10

I have declared the touchscreen as the main screen, but it remains mouse control. Too bad.

Touch functionality normally works through a seperate USB cable, next to the HDMI cable.


You probably did this, just checking here,

Yes, I have tried both options. The manual specifies to use the included HDMI cable for the touchscreen function. With the USB cable I get the message "No connection".

IIRC among the windows 10 options there are some related to the « tablet pc mode » somewhere, where you can instruct Windows if it should consider some device as touchpad of some sort or not. Maybe you could play a bit with this?

After that I had also searched. It is also strange that the device manager does not show the touchscreen like this. It is not listed.

Now I am very tired. I do not like to experiment further. My head is empty.
