Updating Air Manager

So I am still running 2.1.1 and am about to update to the current version. Do I need to uninstall the old version prior to updating or will it update the version that's installed on the machine?

You can run the new installer, that should work. There have been changes in panel configurations, but it should convert the old configuration file to the new format.
Don't forget to install the new plug-in as well.
