Just to mention the tool has to be fixed and enhanced as we get strange behaviors for the moment
I get the "General Eng Throttle Lever Position" properly set using "part" as unit and "0.5" as value
after this I tried to set "122.70" to "Com Standby Frequency:1" and get immediately the aircraft in the air from its previous ground position with a full throttle set ...
We have to be patient and see how things will evolve, once again
[EDIT] As already stated : next SDK update will be available on Aug 27th, 2020
Interesting work and discovery though

Re: FS2020 - Bool variables
If some want to make a try with fixed FLOATS input (using dot/decimal point)
Be aware other not working parts are not fixed by me at least
Gilles
[EDIT] PS: Rely only on "MSFS_SDK_Installer_0.5.1.0.msi" SDK install so need fixing from ASOBO / MS. The ZIP file is only there as a sample of what can be achieved after small fix and compilation

Re: FS2020 - Bool variables
Hi,
Was a bit afraid this is an issue, the installer normally only checks the main drive.
If you feel comfortable with regedit, would you mind checking the path in this reg location if that says C: or F:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Appx\PackageRoot

Re: FS2020 - Bool variables
That Reg Key currently has the value of C:\Program Files\WindowsApps
Re: FS2020 - Bool variables
I'm not sure if this would help, however I found in the user profile AppData directory Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\UserCfg.opt a reference to the install path.
InstalledPackagesPath "F:\MSFS2020"
InstalledPackagesPath "F:\MSFS2020"

Hi,
Thanks for your replies.
Just uploaded a new version. Would you mind downloading and testing it?

Re: FS2020 - Bool variables
It didn't seem to work is there any debug or log file that I can pull for you?
It did try to run Procmon against the Beta 8 installer and I do see it trying to access the AppData\Roaming directory but not the Microsoft Flight Sim folder.

Re: FS2020 - Bool variables
Hi,
The Roaming folder is a user specific one, that can cause issues when the application is run under the administrator account.
I'm trying to find a way to determine if it is installed on the system, instead of if it is installed for a user. That is proving more difficult then I thought.
Just uploaded a new BETA again that dumps all found applications on the system to the detail window (click detail next to FS2020). Could you check if you see any list there?
