FS2020 - Bool variables

I'm wondering if anyone has had success with subscribing to variables of BOOL or ENUM type in FS2020? So far I haven't seen much success. Also, the two LIGHT PANEL and LIGHT NAV examples that are already subscribed in the 4.0 beta also don't seem to work. The Double and String types, and Floats do seem to work however (at least the ones that I've tried). I do realize that the MS SDK is incomplete however I would have thought at least a couple of these might be working.

I've tried the following with no success:

Hi,

Might very well be a bug. I’ll have a look at this next week. Will let you know how that plays out.

I think that currently the SDK and Simconnect for this version are in their really early stages. The SDK version is still 0.50ish...

In the release notes they explicitly said that SOME variables are still not responding/behaving properly

The API responds to read/write SimVar operations. The validity of the returned values has not been verified yet.

RECIP ENG LEFT MAGNETO:index (missing ":index" in @mariop post) seems to be the issue as it's marked as Responded, as reported by Jacques in this part :

Currently testing the variables mentioned by the OP:
I can't see "PITOT HEAT SWITCH", "ENUM",

anywhere in the list.

Just only Boolean variables seems not to be handled properly as standard TYPE_BOOL between AM and MFS
if we click on the <TRUE> button from "FS 2020" pane in [CREATE/EDIT] tab we are still getting the proper value True, unlike this simple script for which the value stay on false in any case

Agreed, I found it in the Simulation Variables list in the docs only.
