Quick questions, do I need to uninstall previous version (beta 8) or install on top? Also, if I need to uninstall, any guidance on how to keep all the custom instruments I have?

You can just run the installer, it'll replace the old files.

Hi Ralph,

I have both P3Dv2.5 and P3Dv3 installed - the FSXPluginInstaller.exe stopped after finding v2.5 and did not go on to install the plugin for v3. Can I copy the dll and the text from the dll.xml file from the v2.5 installation and place them in the relevant v3 folders?

*** Update: cancel this question - I just checked the v3 files - it did install OK. I didn't see the v3 stuff in the install script but it must have run OK. ***

Hmm that's weird, but at least it's installed. Does it connect with both the sims?

Hi Ralph - all errors down to me! I hadn't noticed the scroll bar in the installation script - when I closed all browser and other windows, the install script window was still open and clearly showed the installation into P3Dv3. Tested today and working perfectly. I only left P3Dv2.5 on my system in case I needed to go back to it so haven't checked it and will probably uninstall when I get a moment as v3 is so much better.
