AM 3.0 activation

I can't seem to activate my newly purchased AM 3.0. It says my license is in use on another device, but this can't be the case.

Activation window produces a JAVA-crash on first startup, had this on two computers.
Works on second run.

Question on the licenses... I have two computers, one with flightsim and secondary instruments,
one laptop with the standard 6. Honestly I don't know how licensing worked on v2, but now I need
a license for every computer? I cannot activate v3 on my laptop, license is in use.
Can I uninstall it on the flightsim rig to transfer the license to the laptop? Can I use
v2 and v3 simultaneously with the v3 plugin?

If not, can I safely uninstall v3 and take 2.1.3 instead? I don't want to lose my settings.
