diy knobster

i am building a knobster i am using the nano v3 and air manager 4 . air manager can see it but it will not flash when i tick the knobster box only when i tick the old bootloader box will it flash any ideas, is there a special type of nano i should purchase

Then you have an old bootloader. I'm not really sure what the problem is :)

Good morning thank you fir your reply the problem is when I go to the flash screen in air manager it sees the nano but when I tick the knobster tab in the flash page it runs but gives me lubes if errors saying the programmer failed but if I click the bootloader tab instead in runs fine I need to hVe the knobster section to run ..if it's an old bootloader we're can I get the correct one fir the knobster tab to run correctly cheers

I'm not really sure what the problem with the old bootloader is? Just tick both old bootloader and Knobster.

Once I get the nano to flash with both old bootloader and knobster ticked do o still need to load a sketch to the nano for it to work as a knobster in flight manager

Hi Ralph after I flashed the nano with both boxes ticked knobster and bootloader it now show in devices as a knobster Chanel a but in settings it's not shown only mouse and touch are shown can you advise please

Dave,

The knobster selection is a separate drop down selection in the home tab individual panel settings.
