Planning for Air Manager V4

#1 Post by hansmw »

Considering the good state of V4 BETA everybody is looking forward to the final V4 release date. Is it possible to give us an indication for the availability of that version? Would be a nice X-mas present :D
I tried an searched for that info but couldn’t find that. Apologies if I overlooked something.

It certainly will not be before next year. The nav features will not be started until Jan and they need to be proven and matured before release.

We aim for the end of December, but it might be start of January.

@Ralph

Thank you for that info. However it is a little confusing. Can you elaborate a bit more please.

Are you talking about AM4.0 beta 20 with some of the NAV data features and other fixes, or something else?

Oh WOW,

Ralph that short answer is still very vague.

So there will NOT be a AM4.0 beta 20 with the nav features any day soon? You are just going to release AM4.0 then a AM4.1 beta with the nav features?

You need to give us a bit more of an idea of the road forward please so we can plan our side.

I agree.the last communication we had the nav features for AM 4 were going to be worked on in Jan. My logic then thinks release can’t be before that. It would be good to get an update on this.

My apologies, I wouldn't expected any confusion :) There will of course be beta's. I want to finish the navigation database and API before the end of this week, then there will probably be a beta somewhere next week. But no release without beta's, so don't worry.
