Hmz, yes, I did that, and I was probably wrong in deciding that :)

Submitting the complete panel (including instruments) would not be a good idea I think, since the file size might become an issue, but also instruments that have not changed are also submitted.
Submitting the panel layout might be a good idea though, so they eventually end up in the 'Panel add' window, after we add them to the online store.

Weird, nothing changed in the plugin. I tried it here, works fine... Is your folder structure correct?

Working fine for me too... Has your IP address for the sm changed? Is XP selected in the settings? These are my most common problems.

Corjan once told me on Windows I could use something besides the IP address in that box so when my network occasionally dynamically assigns a new IP addresses it won't matter. Could someone explain how to do that to me? About every week or two when device are added or move from my network the IP addressed seem to be reassigned and I have to correct the settings.

Hey,

Ah yes, this rings a bell...

I build the AM 2.1.1 version using a recent version of Ubunutu (15.10 I think). Previous versions where build on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
Ubuntu 15.10 has a more recent version of libc library. This is what is causing problems on your system.

I will reinstall Ubuntu 14.04 LTS for the upcoming AM 2.1.2 release, and build the plugin using the older libc library.

Kind regards,

Corjan

This is the error that shows up in the X-plane log file

dlerror:/home/erwin/X-Plane 10/Resources/plugins/AirPlugin/64/lin.xpl: symbol _ZNSt7__cxx1112basic_stringIcSt11char_traitsIcESaIcEE6resizeEm, version GLIBCXX_3.4.21 not defined in file libstdc++.so.6 with link time reference

Isn't it possible to reference to multiple libraries to tackle the multitude of build versions?

Hi,

Just installed Ubuntu 14.04, and rebuild the x-plane plugin there.
Could you give this a shot?
