DIY 3d printed mounts by Russ Barlow

There is a youtube video where Russ introduces several 3d printed mounts for the knobster. But the link to the 3d designs is dead. The only design I could find is on the knobster wiki for a RAM mount. Can I get a link for the other designs? Of if not can the one on the wiki be used to attach to a base that can be clamped to a desk? Thanks.

Maybe on something like Thingiverse, but I haven't seen them anywhere.

Can a RAM mount be added to a base that can fit on a desk? The RAM STL is the only one you have on the wiki. I don’t know much about RAM mounts but from their homepage they mostly go on things like cars.

Something like the RAM-B-238U maybe? There are a couple of different versions of this.

Does the ramball mount on the wiki page work with the current revision of the knobster? Also is it a B size or C size ramball? I’d rather have the stl’s of Russ’s designs but if this one fits, I’ll try it. Thanks.

Yes it works with the current version (sorry for the late reply). I do not know which version of the Ram mount ball, it's 1 inch/25.4mm I think.

Came here to look for these STL mount files, notice the simwarekits site isnt active and the wiki doesn't have any STL files. Will work it out either way! Have fun folks! :D
