Knobster with Air Manager AND KnobXP

It appears that a single Knobster will only work with Air Manager or KnobXP. Is this correct? If so is it possible to run two Knobsters, one for Air Manager and the other for KnobXP?

It is possible I think, but it would require you to leave one unplugged first, start X-Plane with KnobXP and then plugin in the other Knobster to connect with Air Manager. Not very practical.
Or have a DIY Knobster for Air Manager, DIY Knobsters do not connect to KnobXP.
