Yellow Button Comes and Goes

Using x-plane 11 with Win 7. Knobster works perfectly but has the tendency for the highlighted knob to go back to unhighlighted at random times. I was told that the selected knob should stay yellow until you select a different one.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what's the fix?

This is a new feature that was requested by the community. If you look closely it does not disappear but simply fade down after there being no activity for a few seconds. The current control will still be ready for knobster input and the highlight will come back to full brightness when it is next operated.

It's more than that. Yes the yellow button fades (very nice) but then it goes away completely and turning the knob does nothing. The time it takes to go away varies from a few seconds to a minute or 2 but it always goes away.

We've never come across this issue before, so I'm afraid that the only solution is for us to debug on your system.

Also never seen this. Strange behaviour indeed.

For all following this, the issue went away after moving into Win 10 from Win 7. Problem solved.

Weird... Maybe something with USB drivers and old USB hardware. I would have guessed a bad cable.

This is happening to me as well - I'm on Windows 7 so maybe that is the issue?

Could be, hard to say... If you have access to a Windows 10 PC then you can give it a try.
