It is. Since the position is saved, and monitor arrangement changes over time, it might be placed outside of the visible area.
The 'rescue window' option will set it to it's default position within view.

You would not need this under normal circumstances,

Personally I would've just called it "Show window" or "Display window".

I'm not trying to be pedantic here. I just think "Rescue" is the wrong word for a first time user to see the first time that they see the menu. They haven't ***yet*** done something to be rescued from.

Hi Corjan,
I too had this problem after upgrading my graphics card from a Gigabyte 1050Ti to a Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super. The plugin worked with multiple monitors before the hardware upgrade, but not afterwards.
I've installed the 1.2 Beta plugin and I can now see the KnobX Window. The "Rescue Window" option works but now the Settings window does not appear when I click on "Settings"
Could it be that you need to apply the "Rescue" code to the Settings window as well?
The problem is the same for both X-Plane 11.41 and 11.50b17, running Windows 10 Pro.

Seems to work fine here, might trip up when you have mulitple monitors in a certain arrangement though.

Could it be that the settings window is behind the Knobster window? I have had that a couple of times.
