I gave it a try here both in VR and non-VR, I don't see any change in frame rate, not even 1 frame...

No previous issue on framerate (FPS) for me @Ralph

Hello @Ralph / @Corjan could you add an arbitration between KnobXP running in X-Plane and AM ? (currently if AM is running before the sim launch, KnobXP wouldn't be able to get the handle on the Knobster)

So, we could switch on either side from in the sim KnobXP plugin or from AM to switch the Knobster handling to the other side already connected ?!?
as of the AM plugin inside the sim which already allow communications between the sim and AM. In the same time time not to miss Air Player which could also request of Knobster usage

The other plugin in your screenshot is pulling 5 FPS. I see other plugins in my X-Plane installation also consuming frames. We might be able to lower it a bit, but I think it's unrealistic to think it wouldn't consume nothing to almost nothing.

Just released a new version.
Quite some delay was caused by the USB communication, limiting X-plane FPS more then it should.

Could you download KnobXP 1.1 from this website and let me know if this helped:

It's perfect! Only 1.5 - 2.0 FPS. We can assume this cost.

Ralph: the other plugin is a SASL code plugin. It's a Lua wrapper for C++ and it's normal. But Knobster code is C++ native (Qt5 I supose) and Corjan is a better (hi's God) Engineer than Carenado engineers :D so it was'nt normal to consume 8 FPS.
