Hello Jim
Thanks for the report

it could be that you get the proper action, which I've indeed missed to understand from what Ralph already explained recently
So, to be updated, the instrument have not to be in running state.
I guess this is why AM was able to download the last available EFB, if I understand well this time :-)

Morning,
I see that 1.2.5 is available now but again I cannot get my Samsung tablet to update. I tried the remove and replace on that tabled that helped me get to 1.2.1 but no luck? I am not sure what I am doing wrong so any assistance would be appreciated

Thanks,
Jim

Thank Ralph,
I have already reviewed that..
I followed that many times even when into the app and forced stopped. I have tried agar many times to reselect another and then go back to the zibo panel and its 1.2.1
so I am confused and may not be understanding the process ?

When we exit an APP on tablet device, it stay in memory
So using the proper "Active Apps" touch button, on the lower edge of the device, we can drag the Air Manager APP, that appears, to the right edge with a gesture, which make it close and cleaned itself from memory
So on next launch, AM will scan online for available and updated instruments

I have done that many times..
Just uninstalled the app on my tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab2) and reinstalled and it will not update to the 1.2.5...

Sorry, I've again missed the real thing is that if we start AM with the instrument already running it will not update,
so, the proper way is to switch to another instrument, at least to be sure exit AM, then restart AM and switch to the EFB

Could try this then report again ?

Better than this previous statement
  • Remove the instrument from the panel
  • Again to be sure, Exit AM
  • Restart AM
  • Add the EFB and check
