Zibo Mod tablet on a Android

#1 Post by jemac3 »

Morning,
I hope this is the correct forum for this question.
I have a home cockpit and want to put the Zibo mod tablet on an android. Would air Player work for this? or do I need to purchase the desktop ?

Thanks,
Jim

You only need the Air Manager Android app.

You need to install the plugin to enable the sim to communicate with AM running on the tablet.

Hello Ralph

I've checked and confirmed the Issue @cyberguerro has reported from Android devices Z_2D_XP EFB on x-plane.org forums starting here and following posts :
https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/f ... nt=1810227
could you please investigate ?

I checked the next page of the x-plane.org forums and now I get it. I never use the Zibomod 737, so I had no idea.
The image file name is airstairs_up-1.png, but in the script editor you are using airstairs_UP-1.png. So with UP instead of up, this causes issues on Linux based operating systems, like Android and the Raspberry Pi.

There are also two images called airstairs_up.png and airstairs_dn.png, which are empty PNG's and aren't used in the script. Should those be removed maybe?
The same counts for blank-1.png, and I see that Inconsolata.otf and Inconsolata-Bold_sml.ttf aren't used.

Inconsolata and Arimo are packaged with Air Manager 3.6, so you actually don't even need to include those. Note that the name for the packaged font is different:

The fonts are there since we get the issue on iPad version (OTF required at some stage), if you say me it's ok now, I can remove them on my own too
I will check what is useless and what need to be updated in the script
Should I submit a new version like 1.2.1 ? Surely best ?
