TFT LCD for Raspberry pi 3

#1 Post by BlackHook »

Hello,

I have a 3.5 "TFT LCD SHIELD for arduino, I saw that it was not possible to create an airspeed gauge with an arduino mega. Is it possible to use this screen with a raspberry PI3 model B?

Thanks.

I guess you would have to ask the manufacturer of the display :)

Where did you see it was not possible ? - there may well be an issue with update rate - I can genuinely believe this would be a nightmare ;) - but you can create and graphic you would like to use and if it works satisfactorily and natively on Arduino, then consider a custom link to AM . Arduino is absolutely amazing. But producing rapid update graphics on these kinds of screens is usually unworkable . The PI may well do the ;) job nicely
