Hi,

Sorry for my slow response, been quite busy.

The issue has been fixed, and a new version is now available for download.
Note that the device type doesn't do much, it only makes it show up under that device type in Air Manager.

@Corjan

VERY much appreciated. It is really nice to be able to have the correct name applied to the device instead of using a generic one. I know they effectively all the same but it is still really good :D
Great work.

@Corjan

BTW - it would be wonderful if we could assign names for the devices, especially for the Rapsberry Pi's. If you have 10 Raspberries connected and you have to open each one per luck in AM to find the panel you want to update or edit, this is very confusing. ;)

Fully agree Marcel. I dont think the issue is in the lettering - A B C etc... I think what it needs is an MP name after the device to signify message port - as in - Arduino MEGA 2560 MP (A)
At least that designates it is MP ! ... the ability to apply specific - custom - names to devices would be the cherry on top and VERY useful and transform the interface. :D

AND in the event of a FEW MEGAs (NON MP) .... as in MEGA Cockpit lights (A) (topical ;) ) or MEGA SIX PACK DRIVER (B) etc etc.

Hi,

Raspberry pi's run Air Player, and with AP you can assign a name.

For stuff like Arduino's, it can be a bit complicated, since it would require the Arduino or whatever to be able to persist data.
