Adding instruments to existing cockpit.

#1 Post by Deltasierra »

Hello to everybody,

I’ve completed my C172 cockpit, created with Air Player RPI like in a following photo.

Now I’ve made with my 3d printer and Arduino nano a physical wet compass instrument that I’ve seen (... and already tested!) is now possible to drive within Sim Innovations hardware controls.

My question is: is it possible/useful connect the compass directly to RPI adding the instrument into the existing RPI panel in order to use only one interface or is better to connect this new instrument to Air Manager from PC ?
I am waiting your suggestions about how it will be made and which solution is more convenient.
Thanks!
