Network Bridge and Air Player 4.0

#1 Post by monkeysuncle »

Hello, all! I have a unique situation.

I run MS FSX on Windows 10. I am now using Air Manager 4.0, Air Player for RPi 4.0 on two Raspberry Pis, all connected via Ethernet switch. I also use FltPlanGo flight planner on my iPad. FltPlanGo can only connect via WIFI, so I also have a WIFI adapter. FltPlanGo doesn't like the presence of the Ethernet card, it prevents connection. After A LOT of trial and error, I discovered that I can make everything work together if I created a Network Bridge between my WIFI and Ethernet adapters. Everything was working fine with the previous version of Air Manager/Player.

When I upgraded to 4.0, my Raspberry Pis are greyed out in Air Manager, and only become active when I disconnect the Network Bridge.

Any idea how to get this working again?

Thanks, Dave

I suppose you flashed the Pi's? I'm not sure what a network bridge is. But maybe it requires fixed IP settings for the Pi?
