Hi,
i am using Air Player on Raspberry Pi 3 (B) for a few days.
Installation and first start was done according to the WIKI and everything seamed to be fine.
However, with the second start of airplayer the "Air Player Icon" in the Devices Tab of Air Manager 3.3 disappeared.
I repeated the whole procedure several times. Allways the same result. The Icon was gone.
Remark: Air player is still working and receives commands from P3DV4.
The Raspberry Pi can be reached in the network via ping as well as via putty (SSH), but not via Air Manager 3.3.
I am looking forward for solutions.
Marco

Re: Air Player Icon in AM 3.3 disappears
One additional input:
I had to do the Flight Simulator Connection manually to get Air Player working because with the automatic search Air player did not receive commands from P3DV4.
Now I made an additional test:
When I leave Flight Simulator Connection on automatic, the icon is available after restart (however, then Air Player is not funtional).
As soon as I switch to manual connection mode, the icon does not show up in the following starts.

Hi,
Thanks for the detailed document.
Normally, you will see the question mark icon when Air Player is detected, but not connected.
Couple of stupid questions to start with:
- Are you running another instance of Air Manager somewhere on your network?
- Is the 'Automatically connect to Air Player' checkmark activated in the Settings tab?

- There is no other instance of Air Manager running in the Network.
- The 'Automatically connect to Air Player' checkmark is activated in the Settings tab!
Hope this will help.
