SPI should work fine. Maybe you have to turn it on? Or did you already?

You can check with raspi-config.

Go into the command line / console (Putty), login, type:

Code: Select all

sudo raspi-config

Go to 'Advanced options' and scroll down to SPI, select it, enable it, go back to the main menu and select 'Finish'. It will ask you to reboot I think. Do this and now you're sure that SPI is enabled.

This video explains a bit about raspi-config, although it does not go into detail about SPI. From 3:30 he goes into the advanced settings menu.

I tried that but it is asking for a password. I have not changed the password. So raspberry should work but access is denied.
So it looks like Corjan might have changed it in the image.

Like I said. The touch screen drivers load and that removes the AP logo and the connection to AM devices.

I am not going to waist time right now on it. You and Corjan can delve into it after the show to see if it can be fixed.

A few of us would like to purchase other RPi screens. But can we add drivers to the AP image.
