Reopen panels

#1 Post by flyatr »

Is there a key combination to display the panels again after I closed them with ctrl-q?

I sometimes have to reopen a panel to get rid of flickering images.

Flickering images...? Any specific instrument that does this?

It's not a particular instrument. Some of mine, some from the store:

https://1drv.ms/v/s!An79_6jJO4vrjexI_m2LdcBD45gVeg

After a restart everything's fine. No errors in the log.

Code: Select all

12:00:54 INFO AirPlayer: Version 3.3.2 HOME_USE BETA
12:00:54 INFO AirPlayer: HW id = e6c3704b5aa905fd1921c72d7152d507
12:00:54 INFO LicenseFile: Program version: HOME_USE, License: HOME_USE_STANDARD, Valid until: Unlimited
... ok now I got something:

Code: Select all

Just a note: The Air Player log file apparently gets overwritten at every start. So we cannot see previous errors and warnings. Also there is no date logged.

ERROR SiGL: Failed to create shader object: àXƒwø
That looks like something going wrong in OpenGL...

So, how can we get on here? Maybe change the log being overwritten?

A key to reload the panels?

Hey,

It indeed looks that openGL cannot be initialized correctly.
What kind of video card do you have in your system?

Please note that after an Air Player restart the panels work error-free.

Hi,

Ah yes, now I remember. Sorry, it hard for me to keep track of all people :) I think we talked on skype at the end right?

To make sure I understand correctly, the instruments start flickering (and you get the error message in the log) when you open a panel for the second time?

That's perfectly understandable. I just didn't want to retype. :)

No, the flickering happens when I first start Air Player. After restart AP it's fine. Please see the video I posted above.

For starters, could you change the Air Player logging? Log always gets overwritten and there are no dates logged. That would give you more to work on.
