Air Player not showing panel on Vista Laptop

Hi,

I have installed Air Player on a Windows Vista Laptop. The installation of "vcredist" did not finish (at least 20 min). I killed vcredist.exe in the task manager and strangely the Air Player installer said "installation successful". I did this again after a restart.

Air Manager on my PC can find the device on the network and I think I set it up right and clicked "Save" in the Device tab. Instruments were uploaded but nothing shows on the Air Player laptop.

Hello flyatr

In Air Manager, you'll have to click on the left side, on your panel name, which is "ATR 72-500 - Primary flight panel"
then check on the right side that "Start panel when starting Air Player" is ticked

Thanks, I hadn't seen that. But it was ticked already. I think the installation went wrong.

Can you also check the log file "log.txt" inside \Users\%username%\Air player\" folder ?
I had some related issues when errors on instruments load are logged inside this file

Do you know what kind of video card you have?
It might be that you don't have the latest video card drivers.

The Open GL error is fixed by the new driver

My graphics: intel mobile 965 express
I updated the driver from 7.14 to 7.15... through this link:

There's another topic going on with the same problem. It's probably good to have a few people to confirm that this works (if it works).

Your link is for Air Manager Beta. I get this error with Air Player.

I went ahead and installed Air Manager Beta on my PC just to make sure but Air Player on my Laptop still shows this error message.

Ah, you're right, sorry. I wasn't paying attention. You could try to run the demo panel with the Air Manager beta on the Air Player computer, just to see if the problem is gone. Or maybe we can create an Air Player beta tomorrow.
