Custom Panels not feeding to AP

#1 Post by freedom »

Both AM and AP V4 in the same computer. In AM I can see AP showing up but when I add some self made panels to the AP and click “Show” nothing happens (actually only showing blank panel). Checked AM user instrument folder no files are copied.

Troubleshoot by adding community panels. They showed up fine.

May I know how can I fix this? Thanks

Forgot to reply. I see a lot of disconnecting and reconnecting, so there might be some network issue. Firewall? Unstable or blocking router? Something in that area I would guess.

The machine I tested with was connected via both LAN and WiFi, seems like the 2 IP address is causing disconnections. Let me disconnect the wifi and try again.

Hi Ralph, I encountered the same problem today. It's not caused by connection problems or something like that. Downloaded panels are transfered to AP without problems, but custom panels (cloned or self created) not. My AM is connected to another laptop with X-Plane and AP (both Windows 10).

Reproduction example: Baron B58 - Com Nav Radio
1. Add "Baron B58 - Com Nav Radio" to the AP panel
--> The instrument is transferred to AP and becomes visible in AP
2. remove "Baron B58 - Com Nav Radio" from the AP panel
3. Clone "Baron B58 - Com Nav Radio". New name: "Baron B58 - Com Nav Radio CLONE"
4. Add "Baron B58 - Com Nav Radio CLONE" to the AP panel
--> nothing is transferred to AP or visible in AP

The instrument folder of "Baron B58 - Com Nav Radio" is appearing in the Air Payer BETA/instruments/OPEN_DIRECTORY folder but the instrument folder of "Baron B58 - Com Nav Radio CLONE" is not.
In the AM log and AP log there is no error message or other info regarding this problem (in both logs last messages are about establishing the connection).
