#1 Post by Bob39 »

Can not load panel to Air Player V3.7.10 running on HP TouchSmart 300 running Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1.

If I delete config.sqlite3 file, I can load a panel once.

Some user rights issue on your system maybe. Are you logged in as administrator?

I think you are correct on user rights issues. My user account "Bob" is an Administrator type account.

Should work fine then. Did you try running Air Manager as administrator? I think I saw this issue before, but I can't remember what the solution was :(

I tried running Air Manager as Administrator, no change. The HP TouchSmart 300-1020 is an older machine from 2009. The CPU is a AMD Athlon II X2 235e. Using CPU-Z, the instruction is MMX(+),3DNow!(+),SSE,SSE2,SSE3,SSE4A, x86-64,AMD-V. Which I would not expect to be a problem.
I checked the permissions for "BOB" on config.sqlite3 and it shows Full Control Allow but check mark is in grey.

I don't really vouch for Windows 7 as well. Maybe you can upgrade to Windows 10?

I would rather not upgrade to Windows 10 as it would be quit a load on the CPU in this system. I am going to write up ticket on the problem. I find it strange that the error message has back slashes in the file name.

The minimum requirements are Windows 7 service pack 2 by the way...

Air Manager 3.X requires Windows 7 (with service pack 2) or up (64 bit only). Service Pack 2 is Service Pack 1, then April 2015 Servicing Stack Update (KB3020369), then Windows 7 SP1 Convenience Rollup (KB3125574).
Air Player 3.X Windows Vista SP2 or up (32 or 64 bit)

Air Manager 3.7.10 is running in Windows 10.
Air Player 3.7.10 is running in Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit which is fully updated.

Air Player appears to work if the panel upload has "start panel with Air Manager" ticked. The Knobster is working.
