Are both machines on the same subnet. It’s ok to use a manual address but if set correctly the auto connection should work just fine.

Re: Trouble connecting to Air Player
I do have the latest plugin installed on my computer that runs P3d.
both IPv4 addresses are the same until the last digits. One is .66 and the other is .67
Both have the same subnet mask. The only difference I see is under the default gateway line, there are two things listed. A bunch of letters and numbers with colons between them, and the last 7 digits are different between the two computers. The IP address listed on the next line are the same for both computers.

@wreck1463
could you post a screenshot of each IP config to better understand ?
with blurring the private part if you prefer
it looks like there's potentially something which going wrong

Re: Trouble connecting to Air Player
Doesn't seems to be IPV6 Compliant
so really better to disable IPV6 on both computers if no other use elsewhere

I've missed to mention it's best to reboot both computer
to clear cache and situation after disabling IPV6

Re: Trouble connecting to Air Player
Ok, disabled IPv6, rebooted both PCs and the router. No change. Tried disabling both firewalls again, no change. Still works only in the manual connection mode (with or without the firewalls enabled).
