Hi There
I have just purchased the Desktop Air Player and the download and installation seem to be all right.
However, whenever I try to run it, the small icon shows at the bottom right of the display at the task manager keep saying it is running but the program doesn't open.
I tried several times to uninstall and install again to no effect.
Any idea how to solve it ?

Hello @edromano
Welcome to the Sim Innovations forums
Could you post the "log.txt" file from "C:\Users\%username%"\Air Manager" ?

Re: Air Player not showing on the screen
In any case, do you purchase also an Air Manager license to upload instruments to Air Player Desktop APP ?
Did you upload instrument from AM to AP ?

Re: Air Player not showing on the screen
I have another AM license in another computer and a previous version of AM 2.3 on this desktop which I am struggling to re-activate.

Re: Air Player not showing on the screen
Once AM launched, we should go to "Device" tab,
there selecting the Air Player device on the left pane list,
we click on the <Save> button to upload the panel and instruments that have been added previously to this device

Re: Air Player not showing on the screen
edromano,
First of all welcome.
I think the fundamental bit you are missing in this is that AP is not a standalone App. As Gilles said you need AM to be able to upload panels to AP. AP sitting in the task bar is normal and a sign that it is running. If you only want a single machine running panels then you should contact the guys at Sim Innovations to ask to have this AP purchase credited towards an AM purchase.

Re: Air Player not showing on the screen
I see you have both an Air Manager and Air Player license. As Tony said, Air Player has to be configured by using Air Manager. Usually you place Air Player on a second instrument machine. If you have only one machine for instruments, then you don't need Air Player.
