C130-E engine gauges
C130-E engine gauges
Thanks siminnovations for all the new features in 3.0 and the support and letting us shape (a little bit) the software.
My renewed thrill is based mainly on the Arduino hardware support and the Android version. This opens up so many new solutions.
I have migrated from my ATR 72-500 simulator to a C130-E Hercules. Currently under development are the engine gauges:

Looking good.
Nice to see another version of a C-130 undergoing development here.

Hi
The Instruments coming along nicely.
Two questions.
1) The image posted, Is this a panel where individual instruments are placed in or is it one instrument?
2) The oil pressure gauge. What dataref are you using for "gear"?
OK third question. What sim are you using?

- I created 8 gauges which I added 4x to the panel. The engine index can be set in the user property section.
- As I didn't find any dataref I cheated! It's just a fraction of the engine oil pressure.

Re: C130-E engine gauges
Ok I am XPlane. Using the Jacques Brault C-130
I also did that then decided to build one instrument because I wanted to change viability of the instruments.
Ahhhh Yes I also did not find a dataref in the XP dataferfs. Might have to create one in PlaneMaker.

Hello Flyatr, with the C130 coming out with the latest V4.3 update to Prepar3d any chance your engine gauges will be uploaded to the store soon? I would be interested in building a panel similar to what you have built.
Cheers
