Hi Jedeen

I find this issue in "apalt1" variable : for some reason, the thousands, if less than 10K are aligned to the right. but over 10K there is a space on the right, see pics.

Hello Max,
I know. Tomorrow I will upload a complete new version, with some new features.

The latest changes are:
Implemented ground course indicator
Implemented minimum and maximum maneuver speed indicators
Implemented acceleration indicators
Implemented green warning symbol in altitude window
Improved AP altitude representation

I only have to clean up my code
Have fun
Jedeen

Dear Jedeen,

thanks a lot for your work on PFD and ND! Beautiful work, much appreciated!
I'm building home cockpit based on XPL11 and Zibo 737 so it is something what I have been waiting for.
I have (originaly) built my home cockpit for iFly737 and P3D but now I'm planing to change it to XPL as Zibo737 is getting better and better..

I would like to share some observations after testing your PFD:
- PFD fonts - I can see that you are using Arial Bold font iso BGC font - is there any reason for that? I think that BGC looks much better...
- when climbing / descending - your PFD Altitude in ALT window is runing much faster then Zibo's PFD because you are using 10 feet steps (iso 20).

As I'm currently considering purchase of AM3 I would also like to ask if you plan to support both AM versions in future or you will focuse on AM3+ only.

Thks a lot for your work!
Brgds

Hello Pcenek,
First the font.....the BGC font is there because it's indeed the best font for the PFD ...butttttt......it has no degree sign.
So until someone can make a degree sign for that font, I have to stay with the common Arial.
That's also the font I use for the ND.
But as soon as someone can deliver me a font with a degree sign I will change all the fonts.

Second...yes I will support AM2.3.1 in the future.

Third....in due time I may consider to change the altitude tape, in fact the tapes are already in the folder of the instrument.
But right now my focus is on the ND and after that the upper- and lower Eicas.
I myself have a cockpit from Ifly and took in december 2016 the decision to migrate to XP11
You can find my cockpit at: http://www.jedeensim.nl

I hope this is enough information for you for now

Regards Jedeen

Cheers

Dear Jedeen,
thks a lot for your reply. I'm glad we are proceeding the similar way. XPL way is more difficult but it's worth it :-)
Just one more question - do you plan to support AM3 too (as I'm considering to use RP3 hardware) ?
Thks a lot

The degree symbol was hidden because of the placement. corrected, it shows.

Hello Petr,
The PFD for AM 3.0 is already online but there are some minor issues with AM 3.0.
Corjan is busy to solve them. I did a test today and it looks promising, that's why I put it online today.

Hello Max,
sooo....I can convert all the text now ??? As you can see there are more things to alter then only the text lines.
Thnx for the fonts. :D
When I have finished I will report back to you guys.

You bet!

It is very time consuming to change the font. I discovered that the BCG does not support the "bd" attribute, but it works ok in plain mode.
If you care, I could help you to do as far as I can to replace the arial with the BCG in the PFD. All the position coordinates must be adjusted, and maybe the png's sizes too...

From coarse replacement to refined one, with some time. So you can concentrate on the ND.

Thanks for the offer Max,
I'll change the fonts in time. I use those modification on the PFD as recuperation ;) time.
The PLN page for the ND gives me sometimes headache.
Have fun
Jedeen

BTW: Ralph of SimInnovations has send me his PFD for the X737 and there is an other font in it that I also want to investigate.
