Hi,
I see my LNM is a little out of date. I will update and check.
But LNM reports the latest AIRAC so also confused.

Sorry for the split messages. But my X-Plane computer says also I have the Feb. cycle:
Re: Navigation data functions for ATIS and other
Hi again,
in the Littlenavmap documentation it says that ATIS and COM frequencies are taken from the LNM database, not from Navigraph. Using the freeware DB browser for SQLite I can see that the Navigraph database has ATIS frequencies that do not work, in X-Plane at least.
I published my "Runway Finder" instrument on the beta testers section here. Using it I see funny frequencies from time to time. E.g. a VOR frequency tagged as ATIS, wrong ATIS frequencies and other.
I have AIRAC 2102 cycle currently. I would appreciate if someone with a current cycle can check, whether the data have changed. I see:
========= EGNV ===========
ATIS:
Airmanager: 132.37
Littlenavmap 132.38 (works in X-Plane)
Navigraph 2102: 132.37
=============== EGLL ==============
ATIS:
Airmanager: 113.75
Navigraph 2102: 113.750
Littlenavmap: 128.08 (sound ok)
================ EGWU ===================
I realize this is a RAF airbase (Northolt), but still 299.8 for ATIS sounds not quite right.
ATIS:
Airmanager: 299.8
Little Navmap from internal DB: 125.125 (sound works in X-Plane 11)
Navigraph 2102: 125.120
Thank you
Detlef

Re: Navigation data functions for ATIS and other
Hi Detlef, Northolt is military so they use both UHF and VHF. 299.8 is the UHF ATIS frequency, 125.125 the VHF frequency for civilian use. The UK Mil AIP is available online in case you wanted to review all comms.

Re: Navigation data functions for ATIS and other
We're using an old database, so there will be discrepancy. Updating options will come later.
Re: Navigation data functions for ATIS and other
Hello Jon,
thank you! I was not aware of that. There is no way to tune in 299.8 in a radio I guess. The Saab 340B I am currently flying cannot do that. But looking farther I also found no dataref that would hold the digits after the decimal point.

Re: Navigation data functions for ATIS and other
UHF radios are quite uncommon in traditional airplanes, except for long range communications which is not the case of the SAAB.
They are more used in military airplanes.
125.12 will select the 125.125 frequency in the 8.33 mode.
