The instrument is very much still wet behind the ears. Progress and build will be available on the discord server. I will also post updates here. This instrument is going to be like zibo. Probably never finished.

But something will become available in about 3-4 months.

I do not want to release half an instrument and the guys at SI would not be happy continually having to push new updates. Not to worry it will be free and available to all.

I have limited the data and this is just a sampling.

So the G1000 as I had planned it is now scrapped. But all is not lost. Just a mountain more work to do and a restart. No12

I was asked if the G1000 would be available without bezels so that it could be used on 1024 x 768 screens. How dumb was I. All my scaling was to the store G1000.
The new version will allow for any of the G1000 screens which have a resolution of 1024x768.

The readability of text and graphics is different on different screen sizes.

I was so proud of these graphics until I put them on a 15" screen. A huge wake-up call for the smaller 10.4" screens.
So all the graphics will have to be reworked and font sizes changed.
Two to three days per Air-Frame is about a 3 month work setback.

Anyway probably better to do it now mid stream that trying to fix when it comes to beta.

Sometimes it is best to shift focus. So a bezel is on the printer before it go's to the lazier/cnc.

I am not happy with the Air Frame house that built the TBM850. Many short cuts in basic operations. Looks like to get the G1000 up to standard things like circuit breaker panels and electric buses need fixing. Not to mention the Fuel system and basic anti ice and separator systems.

But I will win.

That is quality. The extruder head looks really neat and very well made. What model is that ?.
Are you doing the whole design yourself ?. If so, what design program are you using ?. I have QCAD Pro (paid version) and Estlcam but am yet to really use them in anger. I have mainly played around with QCAD which I really like. I used to use 'DESIGNCAD' about 20 years ago when you still bought the program in a box from the store, with printed manual and CD ! .

There are a number of cad programs one can use.
Fusion360
FreeCAD
Meshmixer
Blender

For simple things i use Inkscape then extrude in blender.

PCB i use EasyEDA

The printer is a very modified Wanhao D9. 500x500x500 print volume.
For printer settings and splicing I use Cura.
