Russ

I submitted your question to JacquesV in French. He will answer shortly I guess....
The thing is that we noticed that the original TAS circular scale in the original Siminnovation instrument was offset temperaturewise.
The TAS should be equal to the IAS only in standard atmospheric conditions, i.e. with a temperature of 15 degrees C at a pressure altitude of 0 ft(sea level) with a pressure set at 1013hpa (or 29.92 inHg).
Not a big mistake, but worth to be amended!

No need for that I think. We already have a French specific sub forum in the all French cockpit builder's forum Aircockpit
http://www.aircockpit.com/viewforum.php?f=147

We agreed privately with JacquesV that I would translate his words into English, which is the most commonly shared language. Otherwise, one would loose the interest of the international sharing of information, IMHO.
Let's magine your main forum is in Dutch, that would be of little use for me!

Yes, I vote that ! :D Sometime, it would be easier to me to understand complex or technical messages...

Hello,
The idea is to communicate in French and English to enlarge the Air-Manager Forum, group anglophones and francophones must help each other.
best regards.
Jacques

Bonjour,
